VSS Mechanics Serve Crews Deployed in Various Western States

Throughout the paving season, VSS crews are deployed to many western states including California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, and Utah. We serve many states DOT's, county roads, city streets, national parks, and military bases.

Our crews run many types of equipment ranging from F-250's to Macropavers. All of this equipment needs routine and emergency repairs along the way to keep the wheels turning. The VSSI Mobile Mechanic team responds to issues day and night, across town or across state lines. These men work long days, travel thousands of miles per month, and don't quit until the equipment is safely back on the road.

During the quick winter months, this team works tirelessly to give the entire VSS fleet the attention needed in preparation for another long season ahead.  This team is a great example of reliability, innovation and excellence. Their services range from oil changes to drive train repairs, electrical issues to hydraulic leaks, and emergency welding repairs to brake replacements. Our mobile mechanic team is staffed by James Martinez, Chuck Herndon, Jim Enlow, and Josh Rothman. This team is led by John Deer, Mike Anton, and Stan Bullard.
