Cameron Reed Joins Reed Family Companies

BUILD is pleased to introduce Cameron Reed, who joined Reed Family Companies last month as Director of Digital Excellence & Strategic Initiatives. Cameron comes to the business with more than a decade of experience in enterprise software and user experience design, most recently leading design operations for the team behind Salesforce's flagship CRM. She will be partnering closely with leaders across the organization to strengthen how our digital systems support our teams and customers. Early focus areas will include improving data flows, guiding CRM adoption, and evaluating how AI tools can help teams access and use data more effectively.
From Cameron:

I'm proud to be returning to the family business where I first started working as a teenager at VSS in West Sacramento. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work in public service with the National Park Service and in enterprise software at Salesforce. My background is in human-centered design, building systems and workflows around the people who rely on them.
I care about giving teams the clarity and tools they need to do their jobs well, and I'm looking forward to learning from all of you who have been building and growing this business for years. I'm based in the Bay Area and will be spending time in Modesto and Sacramento. I hope to meet many of you in person and over Teams in the months to come.
Outside of work, my husband Josh and I stay busy with our two kids. Griffin is a first grader who loves Legos and Cub Scouts, and Leona is a preschooler who never misses a chance to splash in puddles. I'm proud to join the business as a fourth generation family member, and I'm grateful that my kids will get to see this chapter up close.
