Caring for Our Customers, Employees and Community - New Malones Lake Family Scholarship

This month our November George Reed Shout-Out Service Principle is C – Caring for our Employees, Customers, and our Community. George Reed hosts an annual golf tournament and due to unfortunate events, we have shifted our focus and turned this event into a charitable endeavor.

All of the proceeds will be donated to The New Malones Lake Family Scholarship in Memory of CT Tuthill. Just over a year ago our friend and colleague was taken from us too soon. Not a day goes by that most of us don’t think about his optimism, his friendly personality, his passion for this company and this business. He is dearly missed.

The proceeds of this scholarship in the near future will go to helping CT’s children, Brady and McKenna with their college expenses. In the future, the fund will continue in CT’s name to benefit select college-bound employees of the New Malones Lake Marina. Last year we donated $6,050. This year with the help and generosity of our employees, customers, vendors, sub-contactors and business partners, we will be donating $7,500.

We are very proud to continue supporting this scholarship in CT’s name. GRI truly cares about our employees and that family atmosphere is engrained in our culture.
