The 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event!

Get ready for a day of BIG trucks, BIG equipment, and BIG family fun! Reed Family Companies is proud to once again sponsor the 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck Modesto, and we would love to see our RFC employees and families there!
Touch-A-Truck gives kids the chance to get up close and personal with more than 50 trucks, tractors, and other incredible vehicles. Kids can climb in the vehicles and experience the fun of working in the trades.
Reed Family Companies will have several pieces of road construction equipment from our operating companies. Bring the family!
Event Details
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Early low-stimulus "Hour Without Horns" typically runs from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM)
Location: Modesto Junior College (MJC) Ag Pavilion, 2201 Blue Gum Avenue, Modesto, CA
Cost: Free admission (hosted by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce, with help from Reed Family Companies
What to Expect
Vehicles: 50+ large vehicles including police cars, fire engines, construction rigs, farm tractors, and utility trucks.
Activities: Kids can climb inside, honk horns, meet operators, and watch special demonstrations like front loader gravel loading or helicopter landings.
Extras: Food vendors and community informational booths.
🙋 We Need Employee Volunteers!
Want to do more than attend? Come volunteer with us! We’re looking for employees to help for 1 – 4 hour shifts throughout the day. It’s an easy, fun way to represent RFC, interact with local families, and help us make this community event a success. To volunteer, email BUILD@reed.net.
*Please note: Volunteer hours for this event are not eligible for Reed Community Service Day hours.
