Hope Church Mixed-Use Basketball Court Donation Project

Reed Family Companies is proud to highlight a recent community donation project completed in Turlock, where our teams partnered with local vendors to deliver a 52' x 82' basketball and mixed‑use court for Hope Church. This project was developed with one clear goal in mind: to support local youth by providing a safe, positive space for after‑school recreation, connection, and growth.

The new court will serve as a gathering place for youth programs, outreach events, and everyday community use, helping Hope Church expand its ability to engage young people in healthy, structured activities. Projects like this reflect Reed Family Companies’ long‑standing commitment to investing in the communities where we live and work, using our industry expertise to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

After completion of the court, on Sunday, February 8th, after church services, Hope Church had a Dedication Ceremony. The Mayor of Turlock, Amy Bublak, and Matthew Reed attended the ceremony and said a few words. George Rivera from 711 Materials also attended.

This donation effort was made possible through strong collaboration across Reed Family Companies affiliates and several valued partners who generously contributed their time, materials, and skills:

• George Reed provided project design, demolition, rough and final grading, and concrete placement.

• 711 Materials supplied high‑strength concrete with fiber reinforcement, custom coloring, and delivery.

• GCU Trucking supported the project through material hauling services.

• Collins Electric completed the electrical work.

• Chrisp Company handled professional court striping.

• Hope Church Volunteers completed the landscaping, helping bring the project together visually and functionally.

By working together, these teams transformed an idea into a durable, high‑quality recreational space that will serve local families for years to come.
