Jeff Roberts Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from WRAPP!

Reed Family Companies is pleased to announce that Jeff Roberts, President and Chief Executive Officer of VSS International, Inc. has received the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Western Regional Association for Pavement Preservation (WRAPP). As an ambassador of the pavement preservation industry Jeff has spent his entire career as an industry leader where his achievements both organizationally and individually are many. During his 38-year career Jeff has mentored many current leaders throughout the pavement preservation industry scattered throughout the US.


While at VSS, Jeff has managed or overseen the execution of thousands of pavement preservation related contracts involving the use of various pavement preservation techniques such as micro surfacing, slurry seal, chip seal, cape seal, fog seal, and crack seal. A few high-profile pavement preservation projects completed by Jeff’s VSS team in recent years include work at Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, Mt. Rainier National Park, the Ronald Reagan National Library in Simi Valley, California as well as 130 lane miles of the Pacific Coast Highway through the heart of Los Angeles County, California.


In addition to his 20+ year career in California with VSS and California Pavement Maintenance Company, Jeff spent 17 years of his career based in Florida where he worked as a senior executive for Hubbard Construction Company and Eurovia. During his time in the hot mix industry, he was a leader in the use of high percentage RAP mixes, polymers, warm mix technologies, ground tire rubber, and fibers in hot asphalt mixes.


During his career Jeff has always given back to the organizations & associations that have fueled his passion for the asphalt paving and pavement preservation industries. Jeff is currently serving as the President of the International Slurry Surfacing Association, and is a current board member serving the Rocky Mountain West Pavement Preservation Partnership. He has previously served on boards for the Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida and the Florida Pavement Preservation Council and working committees for the California Chip Seal Association and the National Asphalt Pavement Association.
