Jessica Jarvis - Above and Beyond

We’ve often heard that there are moments or challenges in life that can make or break a person. Some people choose to embrace these moments and find viable options to press forward despite the challenges facing them. Jessica Jarvis, take-off technician at George Reed, is one such person.

Over the past several months, circumstances beyond all of our control have presented Jessica with some new challenges at work. Rather than pulling the not-my-job card, Jessica has stepped out of her traditional technician roll. She has coordinated the take-off schedule by consulting with estimators about their needs, prioritizing projects and tapping additional resources to ensure that take-off needs were met. Several estimators have recently commented on what a great job she has done during these past several months.

When she’s not busy with the increased work load at George Reed, Jessica enjoys working with wood; making furniture and decorations for family and friends. She even had the opportunity to sell her wares at craft shows. Jessica also enjoys camping at nearby lakes and playing with her pit-mix dog, Sadie.
