Jimmie Duncan and Prisscila Choate of Table Mountain Exemplify "Caring" in our S.E.R.V.I.C.E Principles

George Reed would like to recognize Jimmie Duncan and Prisscila Choate for their outstanding contributions and dedication at Table Mountain Quarry. Both exemplify the George Reed S-E-R-V-I-C-E Principles, particularly C – Caring for our People, Customers, Communities, and Environment. Their commitment to exceeding customer expectations and supporting operational excellence makes them invaluable members of the team.

At Table Mountain Quarry, Type II Slurry is the highest-demand product and plays a critical role in driving plant operating hours. To meet customer demand for Type I, Type II, and Type III slurry aggregates, the rock plant currently operates around the clock. Prisscila manages and maintains the TMQ sales calendar in Outlook, ensuring all slurry aggregate sales are accurately tracked and communicated.

In addition, Jimmie and Prisscila developed and continue to maintain a customer demand tracking system using a whiteboard in the quarry office. This tool provides a clear and flexible method for monitoring upcoming slurry demand and allows for quick updates as customer needs change. Together, they consistently communicate with Steve Cognetti, Plant Foreman, regarding upcoming sales and on-site inventory levels, helping ensure the operation remains responsive and efficient.

Jimmie has been a valued member of the TMQ team for the past ten years. According to Steve, “Jimmie is a very efficient loader operator.” His approach to stockpile and yard management goes beyond expectations, as he continually looks for ways to improve material flow and reduce customer truck loadout times. Jimmie is proactive, forward-thinking, and highly invested in the success of the operation. When stormwater drainage improvements were implemented on the plant floor several years ago, he made it a priority to be involved in the discussion and planning process. His dedication reflects the pride he takes in his work and his commitment to improving the facility. Outside of work, Jimmie enjoys spending time with his family, camping, riding ATVs, and working on the ATVs his son races.  Jimmie is a loyal San Francisco 49ers fan. 

Prisscila joined Table Mountain Quarry as a Weighmaster in 2018 and has become an indispensable part of the team. Steve describes her as “a pleasure to work with.” She is an exceptional team player who consistently delivers outstanding customer service. Prisscila manages truck ticketing efficiently and ensures smooth daily scale operations, helping maintain a seamless experience for customers and drivers alike. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork contribute significantly to the success of the quarry. Outside of work, Prisscila enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two children. She also enjoys traveling and relaxing on California's beautiful beaches.
