Ken Meister - Consistent Reliability

1 min read

Ken Meister is someone you can always count on—and his journey with Reed International is a great example of Reliability in action. He began his career with Reed at just 16 years old mowing lawns part-time, and over the years has worked his way through several roles, always stepping up and learning along the way.

From assisting in the Paint Shop to handling Shipping/Receiving on the Materials team and assisting with our software implementation, Ken has never shied away from taking on new challenges. He later moved into the PreFab Department as a Laser operator, building the hands-on knowledge that would eventually lead him to where he is today.

Now, 16 years later, Ken serves as Supervisor of the PreFab Department, supporting operations across the laser, press brake, bandsaw, CNC lathe, and CNC mill. His steady leadership and understanding of the work help keep things running smoothly and reliably day in and day out.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys riding his motorcycle and is actively involved in the Cowboy Fast Draw Association—showing the same focus and precision in his hobbies as he does on the job.

Ken’s consistency, work ethic, and willingness to grow make him a key part of the team and a great example of what Reliability looks like at VSS Macropaver.
