Mental Health at Work

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Here at the Reed Family Companies, we are focused on creating visibilty and acceptance for mental health issues. Mental health issues are less likely to receive appropriate treatment because they are underreported by those working in the construction industry.

Our efforts are to create visibility and acceptance of this taboo topic which include

• bringing the crews Tool Box Talks about mental health

• handing out hard hat stickers to bring awareness and support

• providing resources for those struggling with mental health issues
