VSS International is proud to recognize Michael “Mike” Anton for his outstanding contributions over the past two and a half years as our Fleet Service and Maintenance Shop Manager at the West Sacramento plant.

Since joining VSS International, Mike has established a strong customer-service mindset, consistently going above and beyond to support both internal and external business partners. His can-do attitude, flexibility, and willingness to put the needs of others first have made him a valuable member of our team.

Mike’s leadership is especially evident in his commitment to keeping our equipment running and our field teams moving. Whether working extended hours, traveling out of town to address equipment issues in the field, or giving up his weekends to meet the service needs of our drivers and crews, Mike demonstrates an exceptional level of dedication. His hands-on approach and willingness to step in whenever needed reflect the kind of teamwork and commitment that help keep VSS International operating successfully.

Getting to Know Mike

Originally from Northern Virginia, Mike grew up and attended school there, where he met his best friend and wife of 41 years, Carolyn. The two moved to the Sacramento area in 1993, where they put down roots and raised their two children.

Outside of work, family is Mike’s top priority. He enjoys spending time with Carolyn, their two children, and their four grandchildren, ranging in age from 5 to 17. With all four grandchildren playing soccer, Mike stays involved by volunteering his time with their soccer clubs and supporting their extracurricular activities.

When he isn’t helping keep our fleet in top shape or cheering on his grandchildren, Mike enjoys playing pickleball and going on wine tasting excursions.
