UPDATE: RFC Supports Community Fun at Bike N’ Trike Event

Reed Family Companies is proud to have supported the Modesto Children’s Museum’s annual Bike N’ Trike Family Ride and Fun Festival on May 30, 2026, a vibrant community event that brings families together through creativity, movement, and play. This is our 2^nd year supporting the Modesto Children’s Museum Bike N’ Trike event.

The event kicked off with a colorful ride through downtown Modesto, where hundreds of children (and their families) decorated bikes, trikes, and scooters with color and balloons, before making their way to Roosevelt Park for a morning full of activities, music, food, and hands-on learning experiences.

RFC joined in the fun by hosting a booth designed to spark creativity and imagination. After completing the bike and trike ride, kids stopped by to create their own “pet rocks,” adding a personal touch with paint, decorations, and lots of creativity. The activity quickly became a favorite stop, giving children a chance to relax, express themselves, and take home a special keepsake from the day.  In addition to our pet rock making station, there were also bubble wands, RFC construction coloring books, and a 7/11 mixer truck.

Events like Bike N’ Trike highlight the importance of community connection and supporting organizations like the Modesto Children’s Museum, whose mission is to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in children across the Central Valley.  Our RFC tagline says “caring for our people, customers, communities, and environment.” Events like these are a fun way to present ourselves and our industry to the broader community. These events help bring our community together and strengthen it.  A strong community reciprocates. It may not always be easy to measure, but we believe we have been rewarded multiple times over for the effort we put in.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an energetic and meaningful event and to support a cause that aligns so closely with our values.

The Modesto Children's Museum Bike and Trike Event is on Saturday May 30, 2026 from 8am-12pm. It’s a family-friendly bike ride from the Modesto Children’s Museum to Roosevelt Park, followed by a fun celebration in the park with activities, music, and community vendors. Reed Family Companies will have a tent there and be giving out Reed Family Companies coloring books. Come check it out.

Because Reed Family Companies is a proud sponsor of the Modesto Children's Museum, we have 6 registrations to raffle off for free. All you need to do is send an email to mardi.mcfarland@reed.net and let her know you would like to be put in the drawing. Make sure to include your phone number, as well.

The last day to enter the drawing is Thursday, May 21st. Winners will be notified on Friday, May 22nd.  One winner per family. Good luck!
