OPERATION SHOEBOX 2025 - Update

Members of BUILD (plus George) collected donated shoes from our locations. The total pairs of shoes collected was 87! That beats last year's tally of 62! Thank you so much to those who donated. You helped 87 at-risk children walk to school in more comfort, with more flare, and a confidence boost. That could make all the difference between success and failure on any given day. You are all "Shoebox Heroes"!

Reed Family Companies: Shoe drive March 1st - April 18,2025

Please join us this year in collecting shoes, drop off locations at your local RFC office. Donations will go to x-Hope Organization who support foster kids as well as at risk youth. They anticipate over 250 kids to come through their program this year.

Needs in the community:

Needs are Tennis/Athletic shoes Youth sizes 12-5, Adult sizes 6-10. Please remember: Donations DO NOT need to be a name brand, big box stores are a great choice!

(excerpt from website) Locally, xHope is passionate about serving the most vulnerable children in our community. We are here to come alongside case managers, social workers, school employees, and agencies/organizations to support families of foster/adopt children, kinship placements, teens aging out of the foster care system, homeless and unaccompanied youth, teen parents and families experiencing economic hardship. We strive to remain responsive to ongoing, as well as changing needs and be a source of HOPE, love and support for these children.   

Last year Reed Family Companies collected 62 pairs of shoes, our donations greatly helped the many children who came through their program in 2024!
