Sabrina Brothers, Melanie Bravo, Bianca Castaneda & Jennifer Cook (VSS)

VSS International is very proud to take part of recognizing women in construction. All of these ladies have duties directly related to VSS field construction. They spend a lot of their time away from home and their families in order to help VSSI achieve its goal of being the premier pavement preservation leader in the industry.

Starting with Sabrina Brothers, she has been a part of the VSS Chip Seal operation for the past 6 seasons. Her tasks include traffic control supervisor, flagger, roller & kick broom operator, and general labor. She has become an integral part of this crew, is very dependable, and has become excellent at her job.

These next two ladies get to share the spotlight because they are always together. Melanie Bravo and Bianca Castaneda have worked together on the Post and Notify crew for the past 3 seasons. They travel ahead of VSSI construction operations and assist in setting up barricades, posting notices to residents, and also assist in flagging and other operational duties.

These two ladies also spend much of their time away from home in support of VSS operations.

Lastly, our newest member of the VSS Safety Team, Jennifer Cook. Jenn joined VSS in September of 2023 as a Safety Specialist. Her duties include visiting job sites to conduct safety and compliance audits, VSS Emultech facility visits, and also responding to incidents. Jenn’s contribution to the VSS operation helps keep employees safe and equipment rolling
