3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck

Honking horns and smiling faces, this year's Touch-A-Truck was a day filled with fun for hundreds of families. Thank you to the wonderful employee volunteers who spent time preparing for this day, from building pet rock kits and gathering the vehicles and equipment to dedicating their Saturday to participate in the festivities. This event is fun for all ages and has an enormous turnout and couldn't happen without everybody who is involved coming together and working as a team to get it done. At this event, we connected with the community and handed out 400 pet rock kits. We showcased nine vehicles from all of our companies including a loader, scraper, excavator, D2 dozer, Roller, cement mixer, Macropaver, water truck and generator/film truck. Every year, we hand out Pet Rock Kits to the kids that attend. We got some pictures back already!

Bring the whole family for a hands-on day of fun, learning, and adventure! Kids will get the chance to climb inside, explore, and experience a wide variety of trucks, tractors, and equipment up close.

Last year, more than 5,000 attendees came out to see all the amazing vehicles — and this year will be even bigger and better! Reed Family Companies will have 10+ vehicles ready for the community to enjoy.

Volunteer Opportunity: We also are looking for volunteers on the day of the event to help staff the table, give out candy and goodies, as well as answer any questions. You can volunteer for a 1-hour to 4-hour shift. If you can volunteer at the event, please contact BUILD@reed.net.
