Vista Cloud Migration

Updated: Feb 2

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully migrated Viewpoint Vista from an on-premise setup to Viewpoint Cloud. This project commenced in May 2025, with the goal of going live by December 5, 2025. In May 2025, IT partnered with the leads of our internal teams to document and plan migration/integration for all the other line-of-business systems that needed to be integrated with Vista.

Our team dedicated significant effort to thoroughly test the system. Manohar and Karen collaborated closely with power users and other end users to ensure the functionality of all modules was rigorously tested.

We conducted multiple mock go-live sessions to guarantee a smooth data migration process. Additionally, we updated interfaces with APEX, Command, HCSS, and other line-of-business applications. Our reports were also updated to extract data seamlessly from Vista Cloud. The Helpdesk team worked diligently to keep the Vista client up to date for all end users.

At RFC, a large majority of the employees use Vista most of the day. On migration day, December 5th, we had lunch brought in for everyone in the building while we waited for Vista support to finish their testing. Then there was IT testing, and lasty, the power users across all companies in the AP, AR, HR & Payroll tested before we opened it up for all Vista users.

This achievement is a testament to the collective effort of all functions and companies involved. Thank you to everyone for your patience and unwavering support.
