VSS Safety Stand Down MVPs

In the 2021 season, VSS planned for an all-hands Safety Stand Down event following the Labor Day Holiday. VSS called this event the “Make It A Safe Day” event. All crews, plants, drivers, shop staff, and office personnel attended this event. The event feedback was very positive, so VSS management decided to conduct similar Safety Stand Down Events throughout the 2022 Season following Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day Holidays. For each event, each crew nominates an MVP. The MVP is a go getter, works hard, is self-motivated, coaches others, is a problem-solver, has a positive attitude on and off duty, and keeps safety at the forefront.
