VSS International Honored with Two Prestigious ISSA President’s Awards

Last month, the International Slurry Surfacing Association (ISSA) awarded VSS International the 2026 President’s Award for Excellence – Large Project for our work in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. This award acknowledged VSS International’s ability to deliver complex, environmentally sensitive pavement solutions in a national park setting, an area requiring careful coordination, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to protecting natural resources. The recognition highlighted the company’s ability to successfully execute large-scale work while maintaining quality, safety, and stewardship.

In addition to the large project honor, VSS International was also awarded the 2026 President’s Award for Excellence – Small Project for its contributions to the City of Bend, Oregon Pavement Management Program. The project demonstrated the same level of exceptional performance expected of top-tier industry members, with the committee again unanimously agreeing that the work met the organization’s highest standards.
